Introduction
- Callers hear a pre-recorded message "Please Hold"
and then your music selection when the Auto Attendant transfers
the call.
- Simply attach an audio device, such as a CD, tape, or audio
output from a computer to the back of AirWay Voice Mail, then enable
the Music-on-Hold in the software. AirWay Voice Mail uses a standard
1/8" inch mono phono jack - similar to most headphone jacks.
- While almost all callers with silence on the line will hang
up in less than a minute, callers with music will stay on the
line for a longer period of time.
Details
- Without Music-on-Hold enabled, callers will hear AirWay Voice Mail's
default on hold beeping tone, and the extensions ringing.
- If you do not plug an audio device into AirWay Voice Mail, and you
have Music-on-Hold enabled, callers will hear silence with no
beeping tone.
- Lastly, if you have Music-on-Hold disabled and you have plugged
an audio device into AirWay Voice Mail, callers will hear the music
and a beeping tone.
