Call Hold, Transfer
Introduction
- Hold calls at any phone (even those without a hold button).
- Transfer calls to any local extension, remote extension, or
ring group.
Details
- Place a call on hold temporarily while you transfer them to
someone else in the office (press 'flash' and then the extension
number). The caller will be taken off hold when the receiving
extension is answered.
- To announce calls before transferring, put the caller on hold
and dial the appropriate extension number. Once the person picks
up their extension, you can ask them if they would like to receive
the call or take a message. If they wish to accept the call, you
can just hang up. If they don't wish to accept the call, you can
press 'flash' '5' to return to the caller.
